Great store with cute gifts for everyone in the family! Very well priced ...but definitely not cheap merchandise as another reviewer posted. I’ve been buying from the store for years and I know they make a quality shirt that definitely does not shrink if it’s washed according to the instructions. PERFECT store for Carlsbad community, both locals and visitors

Although it was difficult getting in here day that I gotten into Carlsbad the next day was a lot easier I suggest earlier mornings to try to get into this area but I love the little store it was amazing and the guy that was working there was so nice

There was a review left by a “Jeanie” today that I want to discuss. I was in the store and witnessed everything and the absolute abuse this woman unleashed on this store owner who was simply at the counter looking at something on his phone while patrons shopped. I heard the interaction and she quickly spun out of control and was incredibly abusive and relentless. Her language and behavior upset every patron in the store. I quickly went to the counter and asked the owner to come help me and had him stand with my family and I so she would leave. I lived in Carlsbad for a long time and I was back visiting and enjoying time home again with my family. Jeanie: I don’t know where you come from but we do not treat people the way I saw you treat that man today. Your behavior was embarrassing and I hope you find your way back home safely and expeditiously. In CA we treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless of who they are what they look like or how little kissing of your butt they are doing. Bye now 😘

This was one of the first shops we visited during our first ever visit to Carlsbad. We liked their selection and quality immediately but decided to checkout a few more shops. We ended up back at California Wear and my wife bought this beautiful and unique sweatshirt. Kai was working the shop and was very kind and helpful both times we were there. We are glad we went back.
